Social networking sites have revolutionized the way we communicate with and relate to one another. With Web 2.0 technologies, we see people reporting on major events in real-time,
troops discussing counterinsurgency theory, and long-lost friends reconnecting after not seeing one another for decades.
However, after spending a few years as the moderator on
my college's message board, I know that this technology also allows us to stalk women from afar, insult one another, photoshop one another into goat porn, and glean intel on STD-infected women in unprecedented ways. Just observe:
