And now for something completely unrelated to Counterinsurgency, Aviation and Foreign Policy

Back in March, I became the first person in combat to participate in SnuggieJam 2009--an event during which a bunch of us enjoyed a beer (or near-beer in my case) while wearing the ridiculous half-blanket/half-robe thingy called the Snuggie.

Okay, the Snuggie was funny for a while, but it's gotten just God-damned annoying now. Fortunately, a lot of people feel the same way and have come up with a great parody of the Snuggie:

Granted, I can't complain too much, since my parents did send me this for Christmas, so I didn't actually have to pay money for it. Nevertheless, I can't stress enough how much this trend needs to die. Now there's a snuggie for...dogs...?

Seriously, if this is America, then I don't think I want to go back to it. I don't think I could go back to a nation overrun by Snuggies. Please, just extend my tour in Iraq another year--I'd prefer that to a Snuggified America.
