As with many disaster relief missions in the developed world, the landing zone is a mere field where hundreds of displaced persons have gathered, all rushing to meet the helicopter as it lands. The crew does a smart thing in throwing the food out of the aircraft, lest the locals rush the aircraft and hop inside, hang on the wheels, or accidentally walk into the main or tail rotors. (I'm not joking with any of those)
