You don't know how crazy I almost went when Pulitzer Prize-winning Tom Ricks went on vacation for a month, posting only sparingly at his blog at Foreign Policy Online.Well, this week he's back, and he sent some traffic this way, linking to a recent post where I made fun of "milspeak" in military correspondence.

Check out that post, plus a few great ones today. Unfortunately, one of those posts involves concerns a service member who was recently killed in Afghanistan, leaving behind a wife with two children on the way. Tom provides a link to a memorial fund where you can help the family.
