Not mentioning his heroism. Recently he was in a training flight at low level, flying a Eurocopter AS350, with a lieutenant as student, when the main rotor hit the ground and the heli crashed. Although Major Piffer (Marcus) was severily hit in the face, with a major injurie in one eye, he was able to carry the lieutenant out of the chopper and take him away from the burning machine, before the final explosion. For sure he is a great guy, and his work a good piece of reliable information in the web.
